The average number of birds on the farms during production. The number is the sum of average numbers of poultry birds reported by the farms. The data is based on a statistical survey, and the data collection mainly covered those farms that had 50 or more poultry birds.
From 2022 onwards, the number of laying hens in the Satakunta Ely Centre and country as a whole are not entirely comparable with data from previous years.
