Data on roundwood drain in 2017-2021 revised on 15th May 2023.
New calculation principles for natural drain and logging residues based on the data of the 12th National Forest Inventory measured in 2014–2018 were adopted in the calculation of total drain in 2022.
At the same time, data for 2017–2021 were revised, as the new calculation principles apply to these years better than the previous ones. The change reduced total drain by an average of 0.4 per cent during the period.
The statistics for 2020 have been corrected on 20 May 2022. Removals of pine and spruce pulpwood for region North Ostrobothnia and the whole country were revised. The amount of pulpwood decreased by a total of 0,1 mill. m3. Based on VMI13, the annual increment 103.5 mill. m3 was recorded for year 2020.
