In the period 1950-61 the statistical data were collected only for the years 1953 and 1959, and thus the figures are the same in 1953-58 and in 1959-61. From 1962 onwards the statistics have been compiled annually.
The estimation methods were updated in 1988 and the catches of 1980-1986 were revised. It is probable that the catch estimations done in the seventies are exaggerated.
In 1953-1973 the trout catch is included in salmon catch.
Ide statistics were first recorded in 1969, flounder in 1974 and roach in 1979.
