Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

The bag quantities of deer, other cloven-hoofed animals, large carnivores, seals and rabbit and also other species that are subject to a harvest reporting requirement are reported by the Finnish Wildlife Agency.
Bag of moose, white-tailed deer, wild forest reindeer, fallow deer and roe deer as well as rabbit bag in the year 2021 are reported for each hunting year.
Species that are subject to a hunting permit and harvest reporting requirement (deer, large carnivores, etc.) are reported on the accuracy of individual animals.
Other species are reported on the accuracy of 100 animals. The year next to the name of a species stands for the year of reporting, that is, when the reporting on the species or group of species in question began (e.g. 2003-) or ended (e.g. -2002).
0 = none or under 50
- = deficient data, the catch of this species is included in other groups (e.g. before 2003, wigeon belonged under other waterfowl)
.. = deficient data, the catch of this species was not estimated in that year or/and area
*Otters are not considered as fur animals in the groups of species
**Crow, magpie and seagulls are not protected species
